Paul Colby, Sr. Inducted into the Plastics Hall of Fame

Paul Colby, Sr., Founder and Chairman of Spirex, was inducted into the Plastics Academy Hall of Fame on June 22 at the NPE 2009 conference in Chicago, IL. His lifelong career in plastics has brought forth many technological breakthroughs, including patented mixing screw designs and vented barrel conversions.

The Plastics Academy Hall of Fame was founded in 1972 to administer and perpetuate the tradition of honoring individuals who have contributed significantly to the development of plastics or the plastics industry.
